Battle of the Badges Blood Drive
It’s time once again for the annual City of Jacksonville Battle of the Badges Blood Drive!
The event will be held Thursday, August 27, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex Gym.
This year’s drive could not come at a more critical time. The American Red Cross has declared only the second national blood crisis in its history. Blood donations have fallen to a four-year summer low, and the available supply is not rebuilding quickly enough to meet hospital demand.
The need is urgent—and the time to give is now. Your donation can help ensure that lifesaving blood is available for patients when they need it most.
Donor Appreciation Gifts
Everyone who gives blood in August will receive a $20 Amazon Gift Card by email as a thank-you.
Additionally, type O donors will receive an extra $10 Amazon Gift Card by email.
